Wing mirror not adjusting correctly

I have recently replaced my passenger door window motor on my T6.1 as the previous one got water damage and would no longer control the folding or adjusting of the passenger door mirror. I have replaced it with a brand new VW model using the same part number as the old (7L1 959 406 B). I have had it coded but there are two issues:

1. If you use the control on the drivers door to adjust the mirror it does not work correctly. If you press up on the control, the mirror goes left, press down on the control and the mirror goes right, press left on the control and the mirror goes up and press right on the control and the mirror goes down.

2. No matter what I do I cannot get the one-touch feature on the passenger window to work. I have tried resetting the limits but this does not work. I know its not the switch or the cabling as if I put the old motor back in, one touch works perfectly.

With regards to the coding, we took the code from the old motor and changed the new motor to suit.

Has anyone come across any of these issues and is there a solution?...am I doing something wrong?

Just to back this up we have not touched any adaptations in the BCM, straight motor swap, copied old coding.

Hi. I was wondering if anyone has info on how to strip down my driver's door mirror (T6.1) as it appears to fold downwards manually and wont raise fully uo automatically when van is locked and holding button down - it is trying but seems to not be engaging fully. It's like the mechanism needs to turn 90 deg clockwise to get it to function correctly. Passenger door works fine. Only recently bought the van to convert myself and joined here accordingly (!) so any help for a newbie would be greatly appreciated
