Where Have You Been In Your Van Today?

New job induction training in Colne, Lancashire for 3 days. Rather than a 110 mile round trip each day I naturally took the van!

Stopped over for £20 a night at a basic farm site 3 miles up the road and just commuted there and back each day in the van

Basic but clean loos and great views. Park where you like, wasn't busy.

Just threw a camp bed in as it's a trip to Scotland week after next to The Ply Guys to finally get their Argyll bed / drawer fitted!

Well, what a trip, 1278 miles, a cracked windscreen, a tripped CU, a broken poptop bedboard, France, Belgium and Amsterdam and a Labrador so happy to see us return!
Fantastic adventure!
@Drive Wayne - Presumably your insurance will cover. When mine went in Italy a couple of years ago I spoke with my insurance company and got them to agree to pay for an original VW heated screen - I span them some ballox about the van being under warranty and a non-OEM might invalidate any claims for electrical faults and they bought it. That said, I did have to wait an extra couple of months before Auto Windscreens could get one in to do the job because there are none available here or Germany (at least, that's what they said anyway).

Naturally insurance will cover it, with £100 excess of course. Fortunately only a boggo povertyline non heated screen. My worry is the increasing insurance premiums!

Genuinely… give me everything ago. What have you rode before. My opinion is swayed as I’ve been riding in Morzine since I was 16
I don’t do much trail centre stuff but ride a lot of natural stuff in the dark peak. Just been up in Tarland and Ballater in Scotland and happy to ride black stuff up there.
No probs with anything at Degla etc.
Had Morzine booked and covid got it cancelled and never rebooked it.
