Van ready for the off this morning on our way to Southampton, stopping overnight on C&CC Cs site 20 mins from Red Funnel ferry terminal and crossing to the Isle of Wight 11 am tomorrow morning.

This is the site we've stopped on £15 per night.

Wish I could @Sackmycook, I pull the trailer up my drive with an electric winch, then push it in to my garage, when needed again I pull it out of garage spin it around then push it to my van and hitch it up, pain in the rear actually but needs must.

Henley on Thames today, got a brewery there too, well it was at one time, looks to be rather gentrified these days...


Saying that it's better than knocking it all down and replacing it with concrete brutalism like they did with NBC Star brewery in Northampton.

Came via Ambleside, because I hate the narrow bits on the route North from the Barrow Road, but it's still a bugger to drive, Mrs CAB had cramp in her hand from gripping the door handle!

We were there the following weekend. Yes, the northbound road is awful, especially with a wider van than a T6...
Returned home via Ambleside!

Staying at camping L’Amfora Gulf of Roses Spain, great site with fantastic facilities two minutes from the beech. My only complaint is the woman who takes the aquarobics class at the pool has her volume and the music to high at 11am every day for half an hour.
