What TV are you watching??

I'm a bit behind the curve on this but we watched the last two episodes of The English at the weekend - I've said on here before that I'm a sucker for a good western and IMHO that was a very, very good western indeed. On the subject of westerns, we started on 1923 last night which looked to have great promise. We've still not seen Yellowstone but we will get into that once 1923 is out of the way. We're also about halfway through Echo 3 which is good and has some excellent action sequences. IMHO, Tulsa King is also well worth a watch - I'm not a particular fan of Sylvester Stallone (never seen a Rocky film all the way through and can't actually remember watching one of his films since First Blood!) but I've got to say that the guy fits the role of an ageing mafiosi perfectly.

Started watching series 3 of Happy Valley. An interesting watch, but disconcerting having very local places and place-names being shown and referenced constantly.

I'd just like to reassure folks, the area and the people aren't anything like they're portrayed (apart from, perhaps, the constantly atrocious weather ).

Started watching SAS Rogue Heroes on BBC iPlayer. On episode 3 now and definitely gripped by it. Very interesting watch!

Watched the last two of Echo 3 last night. Some great (if a little unrealistic) action sequences made for an excellent piece of TV that I would recommend to anybody who likes theirs with lots of guns and explosions (albeit, there was IMHO a slightly unsatisfactory conclusion). The big news for this week (thanks to Mrs Ayjay) is that the long awaited (by us anyway) new season of Fauda is out next Friday - more guns and explosions and some seriously hard heroes / villains (depending on what side of the fence you sit).

Just watched Guillermo del Toro's Cabinet of Curiosities "Lot 36", suitably scary, now have to work my way through the rest of the episodes.This slipped under my radar as I normally can't watch horror stuff from my hiding place behind the sofa!
@Loz don't forget Mandalorian season 3, a possible 4th season of The Orville, second season Star Trek Strange New Worlds, more Halo?, season 2 Jack Reacher, season 2 Andor, season 3 Only Murders in the Building, season 2 Moon Knight, season 4 Barry, season 2 Bad Sisters, season 2 Carnival Row, season 3 Resident Alien.... going boggley eyed here.

Watched the series "The Rig" on Amazon. They could have filmed a decomposing turd over 6 episodes. It would have saved them some cash. The acting would have been better too.

This series was the reason I bought a 55" 4K TV, some of the extensive green and black 480p night vision coverage during the "rutting" season totally justifies the licence fee.
