Ok ere we go:
Travellers:excellent take on time travel
Stranger Things: Spooky mix of Xfiles and Goonies
House of Cards: Kevin Spacey at his best
Newsroom: Series 1 is the best TV I have seen for years.
Designated Survivor: huge conspiracy against US government, good plot (pun intended)
Expanse: Gritty space drama.
Not sure if you can get them on the Kodi, enjoy.

I'm in the middle of getting rid of Sky as we don't use it. Getting rid of the TV licence too.
I tend to download some bits before I come offshore to watch though. Here's my list of whats worth watching;

Better get rid of the TV as well you can still get fined unless you can prove it does not receive same with the pc
Not true buddy.
If you do not watch TV live as its broadcast (including C4/ITV players watching at the time of broadcast), and do not record live tv you do not need a licence.
You can use your TV to watch prerecorded stuff and stream, with one exception.
You do need a licence to watch ANY BBC Iplayer content, whether it is at the time of broadcast or not.
As we do not have any antenna in the property and do not watch anything at time of broadcast we are in the clear to do without the licence.
The only loss in my eyes is Dragons Den and the Apprentice...
I'll maybe have to just watch them on the rigs!
with regards to proving it, we can prove if we ever needed or wanted to that we have no dish or antenna connection.

We've watched about 1 hour of Sky in the last month between us, its all Youtube, Disney life, Amazon prime and Netflix.
Even the 5 year old just uses his fire stick tv.

I watch almost no TV but I did like Spartacus a lot. Borderline soft porn and ultra violence.

Ha! I saw a fair few episodes of Spartacus and you're totally right, porn! I think it was the same production company that did the new Ash vs Evil Dead too.
I just started watching American Gods on Amazon prime. It's a bit full on, but could be a real winner.
Yeah that was awesome. A couple of scenes were tough...let me know when you get to the very graphic taxi driver scene
