What Have You Done To Your Van Today?

Been out to collect a 215/60 R17 wheel and tyre for a spare, hopefully should be enough to use and replace the 255/45 R19 should I have any problems.
Had to lower the spare carrier but fitted a treat.

Any good? Was thinking about buy before go to Spain

Yes, I’d recommend them to anyone who’s wanting to significantly reduce the heat and humidity for evenings and nights.

I don’t think i could bear sleeping on the summer trips without this thing.

Great investment. Can also use it at home for the odd heat wave we get!

Big day today!

Collected the van, with a new Storm poptop, Fiamma 43, Vamoose rail, spotlights and then off to Davenco to pick up the furniture (which is not fully fitted, just enough to get me back to Germany...) Altro also down only loosely to get it back. Coming together quickly now though!

awesome bud..
i'm fully kitted, just need an awning.. tilted toward a F43.
Safe trip

Given Remy (the van’s name) its first wash under my ownership at the local jet wash…not that you’d know! I need to get a hose extension for my Karcher, and perhaps one of those stubby lance things I keep seeing on TikTok (unless someone tells me they’re junk) so I can do it myself.

Today’s rant…why do most jet wash places have hoses that are barely long enough to get round a van? I used to own a coffee van and I always had the same issue and yet to find a decent one in the local area! Grrrr! Any recommendations of which places to look out for? Pretty sure there’s a decent one in Swindon but unless I’m over that way for something else, it’s a bit of a trek for a car wash!

Nice & bling... i bought an extending 30ft cable off... ahem, Temu to fit to my Karcher.. works a treat

Thanks for the advice. I did wonder if the cheapo things from TikTok were crap, so I’ll look for something a bit better. I’m not a big fan of washing cars but for some reason I feel the need to keep this one clean. At least for now!
Never heard of a car wash like that, that sounds awesome! I’ve just found one not too far away that seems to have really good reviews, including proper snow foam apparently, so I’ll give that a go
I got a stuby one from TikTok had no issues with. I did get the snofoam bottles etc from Amazon. I also got adaptors and additional hose to extend the karcher one but have just bought single piece 15m hose from TikTok as well so I can leave the karcher well out of the way and just use the hose to get round our vehicles without dragging the karcher round.

There’s a small chance I’ve just ordered a set from TikTok just to see. It was £13 for the lance, snow foam bottle (though I do already have a Karcher one) and some extra nozzles. I also bought a 10m hose extension! Oops!

Not actually a van topic but the new £74.99 Halfords gazebo and wondering what this painful swelling is and why on earth it formed directly outside the single slider when there are three other sides to pick on...?
On a positive note the wife says if I poke it with my finger or attempt to squeeze it she will put the sequence of pictures on here. 🤔

After 6 hours on the side of the road waiting to be recovered, I've left it at the garage 🤣🤣
Turning over but not starting and with a strong smell of diesel suggests a leak somewhere.
Been back to the garage to collect the van. As suspected, it was a split fuel pipe and £86 later it's all fixed, thankfully. Leaving for Switzerland on Monday, the wife will be happy 😀
