What Have You Done To Your Van Today?

A full set of Michelin CrossClimate 3’s put on yesterday. When I got the van, each tyre was a different make and model and of varying tread depths so this was an inevitable purchase. Seems a smoother and quieter ride so far, so pretty pleased (though my bank balance isn’t!). Suspension upgrades next…
Great tyres..
tested them out during winter, did the job.

I have the hexaway2, there a big awning but a quality bit of kit, i got the vango airbeam pump to blow it up as well

Currently pitched up in Noordwijkerhou, Netherlands, we watched our German neighbour struggling pumping up his inflatable sofa with a stirrup pump.
In the interests of international relations, I lent him my airbeam pump, 2 minutes, job done. Very useful/lazy gadget!

Removed my Rock n Roll seals and replaced with a RIB, not a small task on your own. What I will say is barely any of the pre drilled holes worked well and had to use blind bolts in some circumstances.

So far feels like a lot more storage room and more comfortable to sit in. Also being able to elevate the back when made up in to a bed is great.

I was hoping you'd got a T32 as that's a bargain.
I've got H&R coil overs from Steve @CRS Performance and already had the thicker H&R ARBs, not knocking shorter springs but it's the shock absorbers that decide the ride quality.
it is a T32.. use it as a daily, only want the springs for better cornering & on roundabouts.. less roll 🚣‍♂️ 👍

Good job there bud.
prev had a 5.1 with a RnR bed... big difference with the RIB - the back, underneath & on the bed in mine is stored up with all my gear - a mattress topper as well 😁

Flushed out the water tank of sterilising fluid. Now about a third full of fresh water which will slosh about andnkeep things clean, and will get swapped out every fortnight. If I go camping ill refullmit afresh and boil any drinking water anyway.

Its not until you get and use a campervan that you find what setup suits each person, In our first year i have not used the underslung water tank, hob or sink, used the microwave once to warm a packet of peppercorn sauce which i could have warmed in a pan

Same boat here! I've a 70ltr underslung tank, and it looks like its never really been used. Don't think I'll be using it to drink from anyway. But decided to keep it as like the idea of putting in a rear shower to rinse my mountain bike / wetsuit / stuff like that. Just another thing to get around too!

Sometimes it's the tiny little things ... I have the rear seatbelts in mine so it can go back to Kombi any time I want (very rare) but they're a bit flappy and annoy me slightly.

Stuck a magnet behind the belt, so my pluggy inny bit sticks to the wall. No more flappy 😁

great idea, any magnet in particular? I'm going to shamelessly copy if you don't mind!
