What Have You Done To Your Van Today?

Looks awesome mate thank you, i am looking between them (EVO) and Davenco at the moment, but there are so many options on the EVO website to choose from!

Bed definitely looks awesome, will keep that company in mind. I was dead set on RIB until i saw your post.
I've had my heart set on the Smartbed on rails since before even carpeting . Not cheap in the slightest, but love the idea of being able to move it back and forth when there's passengers in, or transporting stuff behind it.

The EVO designs furniture was recommended by another converter, alongside Majestic. Majestic I think might be better quality, and they build it for you and deliver it ready to fit but for less than the price Majestic were quoting for just the furniture, I managed to get a 12v Vitrifigo fridge on a deal as well, plus both sets of overhead lockers have doors and recessed lights which I preferred too. This is the one I got

Had Glow Plug #3 changed on Saturday.. no yellow light.. yay.
Prior to that had a dent guy come to the house, originally thought he was going to have a look - 'no, i'll do it now'. Awesome.
Had a 2 small dinks just under & to the left of the drivers door handle & small dink in the rear quarter, bugged the hell out of me since i've had the van.. was noticeable when the sun was out & looking at an angle. All sorted.
Looking forward to giving it a clean on saturday - & give the lawns a first cut :D

I’ve been to a local weighbridge to get my T6 kombi conversion with Ply Guys interior installed, single rear passenger seat in place, toilet, all the regular campervan stuff in place, 2/3+ tank of fuel and driver and passenger. All together the weight was 2660kg. That leaves me more than enough weight capacity for a long road trip, even if I pack our two folding e bikes.

Me too 😬 though I'm not sure whether I made a mistake with anthracite as going to have light coloured cabinets, worried it'll make it too dark inside... But on the other hand, I think it looks more premium then silver colours.

I'm tackling my carpeting over the weekend - same colour as yours. I've not done it before so do you have any good tips? Yours looks great!
This was my first attempt at it also, its not perfect but its also not the worst I have seen. The wheel arch area was the trickiest part but I watched a few videos by Combe valley campers, Kirivans and THQ. This one probably being the most helpful.

Haven't decided if I will use half height panels or full height panels yet.

Ply guys aren't far from me and I see their caddy around often. Check out vanbus who is also on here as they do some nice black hex panels.

I was scared it would look too dark but I will use something on the floor thay will be a better contrast. The roof panels will also be black when I get round to that

Not our van but finished our new trailer, installed 200 watt ecoworthy solar panel on the roof ( bolted down @Drive Wayne ) built a battery box with 100ah lithium battery, 1000 watt remote pure sine wave inverter, pair of led lights and caravan store awning.
I now have a total of 400ah of lithium batteries and 600 watt of solar plus Jackery 1000 explorer.View attachment 319756View attachment 319757View attachment 319758View attachment 319759View attachment 319760View attachment 319761View attachment 319762

Why though? Seems like a collosal waste of money, weight and space.

I have a single 100ah lithium, a single 100w solar panel and a 1000w inverter. Run lights, a powered sub, WiFi, nespresso machine, charge my ebike, charge phones etc. And use a compressor fridge. I ran out of power once when I hadn't moved for 3 days and had one too many coffees.

It does seem like you need some more storage Ah's. The thought of running out of power frightens me! That cement mixer doesn't run itself! Wifey not being able to dry and straighten her hair scares me more...
