I found some mayonnaise in my oil filler spout, I do a mixture of driving and not all short trips, no oil in coolant and only 14k miles, oil change at 12k.
A quick search on this forum suggests that the pipe which is raised above the engine for ease of topping up is in a bit of a draft and never warms up in these colder months, hence any moisture condenses in the cold pipe, this is evident by the mayonnaise only being on the side facing the grill.
After spooning out the mayo, I have wrapped the pipe in foiled bubble wrap and a bit of foil tape, its sold as Thermawrap Spiral Pipe Insulation and for £3.75 its worth a try to shield it from the wind chill.
