Had some inheritance money, always wanted 1, so got black 1 (kombi) first....then see the grey 1 and thought a panel van will be useful....then the split was right place right time....Bit greedy![]()

Yeah i'd like to think so, but they only worth as much as someone is willing to pay....i like the splitty, its something else to drive, especially when I've been in the t6.1's straight before.....And the Oldest (Splity) is probably worth the most by a fair bit too.
Hopefully the T6's also appreciate in value over time ?
Yeah I love it, just wish I could use it more....hoping to this summer....weather providing....if not, it's going up for saleI wish I still had my first splitty, a 1966 model bought in 1977 for £250 with a years mot.![]()
How good do those T6.1 rear lights look against that shiny paintwork!

Not expensive and one of my favourite mods . ...its the little things
Debating whether to do the same with mine - black strips (not badgeless)Wrapped the chrome grille strips in matt black vinyl and fitted a matching matt black badge.
Was thinking of a badge less grill, but this was the cheaper option. Maybe ill go badgeless in the future.

Considering it's about £12 for the black vinyl, it's worth giving it a try it. You can always take it off again.Debating whether to do the same with mine - black strips (not badgeless)
Got chrome side bars so they would have to be changed i reckon.. do like the trapezoids or swop for blacks![]()
I wish I could find chrome indicator bulbs for them thoughI changed mine in ‘22…. as you say one of my favourite mods…. completely changes the look in my opinion.![]()
HiUp-plate arrived today from SVTech. Have just stuck the V5 and certificate in the post to DVLA and waiting for the rain to stop then I'll go and stick my nice new plate on the van! Peace of mind from not being overweight so easily now for £336 Inc Vat. Super quick and easy. 2800kg to 3000kg maximum weight with no modification required. The converters (Campervan Factory, Tewkesbury) had used high load rated wheels and tyres as standard.
This person has left (or been removed) but I can answer. They provide a sticker to attach (and I can’t remember if this is recommended or just what I did) next to the original plate in the driver door.Hi
Do you mind me asking, I’m just about to do this myself. I believe they supply a new VIN plate? Is this stuck or riveted on and where does it go?
