It drives like a new van! The suspension was in desperate need for all of the work and no more rattling from the top mounts.
All ready for tomorrows road trip to the coast.

Given the old Velle a good grub out today as we're off for half term to go ride some trains in Wales.
The van has been a bit idle over the summer as lots of churn going on in the Roadtripper household (employer in chaos and one of the younguns had a spell in hospital) meaning long road trips have been scarce and we've been putting more miles on the EV (hard to argue with 10th the fuel cost on Octopus). I possibly need to consider a new main battery soon as it's not been driven much and even with the CTEK charging through the trailer socket it's not quite the same.
However past couple of weeks I've got a few things crossed off the ToDo list that I must update my build thread with. And I've had two uses of the NoCo GB70 to rescue others in that time.
First my father's big old Jag had it's main battery go and die, and the NoCo in flat out mode got it going; luckily it's a boot battery and we have a decent general garage in the village so we left it connected and got it around to them to do a battery swap.
Second I was out last weekend up on Hartside Pass (having visited the South Tynedale Railway) when I pulled in to the top carpark to grab some pictures of the the view to send back to the family. It was not great weather and tons of rain and wind, I'd clocked that the only other people there were another red VW van. Whilst I was taking some pictures (from inside!) there was a knock on my door and turned out to be the owner of the other van who asked "you don't know how to jump start these vans do you, we're stranded and the AA say it could be several hours" - well actually I can do better than that and grabbed the NoCo which got the other van going without breaking a sweat. On the off chance you were in a Red T5 on Hartside Pass last weekend, hope you got home without further incident and you find what's draining your starter battery
NoCo jump packs are ace, I'm not sure how many rescues mine did while @Dellmassive owned it but with me it's now rescued a T5, a Jag and a Train...

Maybe a little too much
You've got me checking mine now, half a dozen LED Cortina headlamps really do throw out some lumens! Balanced by the separate twinkly roof optic Fibre flavour.. pleased to say all leds present and correct.Maybe a little too much
Had a look at the van minus front bumper.
They do look good but I think I would miss my armrests! @neverhappy...!
Gave it a quick wash after having the front end made more executive look at Distinctive Dubs
