What Have You Done To Your Van Today?

Now you wished you'd have bought a dark metallic colour that truly shows that shine .... although silver doesn't show the dirt 🤔

Treated the van to 4 new tyres, gone down from 275/40R20'S to 265/40R20'S
Should be in a better place ready for lowering the van next...
Also now know the wheels are indeed 8.5J with an offset of ET35
Is that a pretty standard offset for a T6.1 or will it cause me any issues when lowering?

Just finished applying a DIY detail 5 year ceramic coating on the van. Yesterday was all prep with

Foam rinse foam
Decon with clay towel and iron remover.
Water spot remover
Single stage polish
APP application
5 year coating

Was worries that one bottle was not going to be enough but plenty left over. Granted I did not do the glass

I never want a black vehicle again PITA!

Looked great this morning in the light, now it’s covered in bird poo and tree sap again though, hopefully the polish and wax will help clean it for the next few months

Yeah we had black and it looked awesome for all of 30 seconds.
Dark metallic grey now that seems a lot easier to live with .

The van is the first vehicle I’ve had in 20 years that isn’t black, my colour selection for it was anything but black, before it was only black 🫣
