Magnetic induction charging phone holder
I fitted this previously using the big sticky pad it comes with on the base plate. Brilliant
until the sunshine’s, heats the cab up and the cradle and phone are on the floor 
So…. Half hour fix to remove the sticky pad, take the cup holder out, drill a hole and bolt through with a big washer on the back. Job done
The cradle and charger work really well and not expensive at around £15 (gotta love eBay) but needs some effort to fit it “properly”

Most difficult bit? getting the ruddy cup holder out

I did think of fixing it up on the dash but my phone doesn’t like being in the sun, seriously it would overheat if I smiled at it….

Yep……. Dare not leave it on the dashboard for more than a nanosecond or it would curl up like one of those fish you used to get in Christmas crackers lol
That was a consideration to be honest, but the charger has a built in fan which seems to be counteracting any heating so far

That doesn’t sound too bad to me
Sounds cheap if it keeps an iPhone 16 pro max cool. I could use it as a portable grill if I leave it on the dash
