What Have You Done To Your Van Today?

Installed left & right windows and finished off the insulation. Next job, carpeting...
What is the generally accepted way of flooring? Is it just a case of putting some insulation on the floor followed by a piece of ply and some lino?

For the flooring you can put some 9mm packing pieces in the low points to level out first before you insulate and ply.

Been meaning to do this for a little while… fitted a new bumper protector.. took about 2 hours by the time I removed the sticky stuff from the old one! What a ball aching patience testing job!
Took off the old protector, washed, got rid of the sticky stuff, found it better to peel from front to back.. wash, clay bar, ceramic coat then fit the new protector..

Once that was done, fitted the fridge sticker from fridgestickers.com easy enough to do..
cuppa time 😁

As I'm starting to covert the van, T6.1 I've fitted one side of a pair of roof rails. Got them from Vanstyle. Now I have fitted a few of these on various vans over the years but these are the worst. Never had a problem with Vanstyle kit before. The plastic spacers needed the holes for the bolts to be enlarged as the seals on the rails wouldn't marry up with bolts stopping alignment, really hot and filing away. An hour total job spread to 90 minutes one side so same again tomorrow. At least the door protector, the whole length will be a welcome easy job.

Another busy day was today
Sorted a lot of and still lots left to do before Wednesday
night heater sorted and working as should dc-dc charger as well
Sorted at last wife seat now she can turn around needed to cut a bit of track and other modifications to adapters to make it work
Connected hose to tank for filling up need find now way to get it up any ideas?

Nice ....how much to make me one with same colour ?
My van has an Austops roof so I made it to fit the frame size and strap positions. If your roof isn't an Austops one a duplicate of the shelf I've made probably won't fit your van. I'm sure I could make one if I had the dimensions of the space above the cab and strap position in your van. Material cost is approx £45. 3 to 4 hours start to finish so approximately £40 of my time. Due to the size of the shelf I'm guessing £15 carriage. Alternatively you could collect. I'm near Leeds.
