What Have You Done To Your Van Today?

Made a shelter for the tailgate to give us a bit more room to get changed/prepare food/knock up drinks. Just needs some velcro sewn on to keep the door closed but other than that really pleased. All from a cheap tarp, some eyelets added, red gaffer tape and some magnetic hooks. View attachment 287997

Very good job. Good place for an extension as one need to open the boot so. It does not get in the way or alter the basic profile of the vehicle and has a built in roof complete with skylight! A reasonable place to have a loo if either every one else was on a walk or a rear door cover was in place for privacy and the obvious. :)

Sprayed a load of this stuff all over the engine and everything else under the bonnet as well as a generous squirt underneath the van, front to rear;

I've no idea if it works but last year I found rodent chewing damage to the foam sound insulation around the injectors. No real damage fortunately.
I started using this stuff every couple of months after that and I haven't seen any further evidence of rodents in the engine bay.
Might be luck, who knows, it makes me feel like at least I'm doing my best!
It smells quite nice to me but apparently rodents don't like it.
I've also shot quite a few rats but there's always more.

After contacting Lee at Storm pop tops in Bristol with a warranty issue on my Storm roof 2 1/2 years old which had a small crack where the rear hinges are bonded in.He arranged for me to take my van to Quantum mouldings ltd in Kidderminster who make the fibre glass tops for westdubs and storm, anyway Quantum did an excellent job and it just shows the customer service that Lee gave for storms 5 year warranty.
This was completed yesterday within 3 hours excellent service all round.

Full custom remap on a rolling road with the DPF removed and mapped out.
Also got EGR and ad blue mapped out.
My van is flying now and no black smoke.
I should get a print out with exact BHP etc next week.
I can’t believe the difference and it was supposedly mapped to 150bhp by the converters.
