How much difference does proofing the scuttle and the cab floor do? Have you driven it since doing to find out?
Not driven it yet as more to finish with the sound deadening. Moving onto underside of bonnet next then front and rear wheel arches. How much difference does proofing the scuttle and the cab floor do? Have you driven it since doing to find out?
Let us know once it is done then. I hadn’t even thought about underside of bonnet tbh.Not driven it yet as more to finish with the sound deadening. Moving onto underside of bonnet next then front and rear wheel arches.
I think this massively improves the lookManaged to get 17" bronze wheels fitted today further to lift kit being fitted earlier this week.

Bonnet most likely won't make any difference.Let us know once it is done then. I hadn’t even thought about underside of bonnet tbh.
I have only done the roof and sides at the moment. Not done arches, can roof, scuttle or floor yet.
Intrigued at the difference those bits will add.

Managed to get 17" bronze wheels fitted today further to lift kit being fitted earlier this week. Undecided about what I'm doing with the black tomahawk ones. Think the shed for now. I'll decide whether to keep or sell them later. Just needs a wash now. Never been this filthy since I've had it
before and after lift kit and wheels
Looks pretty cool. Is it achieving anything?
left is what was in situNo as van is still apart, no seats in yet.Looks pretty cool. Is it achieving anything?
The drive back from the place that did wheel swap for me was fine. Not driven it on any fast roads or motorways yet so I'll confirm after we've been away next. The wheel and tyre package was already done before I won them on ebay direct from jbw. They were ex display ones but never driven on or fitted to anything so brand new. £950 delivered. I did a bit of homework re the comforser tyres and found lots of positive feedback so I'm sure they'll be fine. I'll report back in a couple of weeks re the noise, mpg etc.Looks good. how are you finding the Comfoser tyres? Noise, MPG, grip and ride etc?
Thinking of a similar set of wheels and tyres on my 6.1 van.
The existing bulbs have a bayonet fitting, and the ones you have bought are a T15 or T20 fitting.Tried to improve the really low light of a single reversing bulb (tailgate t6). Followed another thread and ordered what I thought was correct LED.
Pic attached?!. What do I need please learned gentlemen? And are there any Luddite friendly aftermarket lights that are plug and play and a fool (me) could install?View attachment 311693left is what was in situ
Thank you. I’ve emailed company I bought from for correct one.The existing bulbs have a bayonet fitting, and the ones you have bought are a T15 or T20 fitting.
You will need to get a replacement bulb with the same bayonet fitting.
