What’s your internet solution. I bought a little internet thing (battery) and a smarty sim. But it’s never really worked

I have now gone full on Roam X. But had the 12v router that a few of us have had. Plugs in to a USB socket for power. Worked well but SWMBO decided to let me upgrade to a dedicated solution.

Luddite question. How do folk watch TV in the van, like straw poll style, live stuff with some sort of aerial, usb fire stick thing with internet, other?! My wife keeps asking the question and I keep putting it off

Can stream hd movies on Netflix with 2 bars of 4G.

This is the one I have. You'll need a 12v to 19v convertor but screen quality is great and works a treat. About 2ah draw so not a battery killer either.

I also just got a cheap bee sting areal for the freesat normal tv channels and that works well also depending of coarse if where you are has coverage

I connected this to my Jackery and the current draw didn’t even register so less than 1 watt.

Keep in mind portable 4G/LTE routers power draw is highly variable - the more data they are shifting the more work the CPU is doing and the further from the cell site the more power the radio needs. I use a Beryl travel router and while that will appear to work off a normal 0.5A USB socket when using it for serious work it does need the full 3A
