What Have You Done To Your Van Today?

Been to the great guys at Herbert and Ellison upholstery to get the cushions for my van fitted/picked up.

Also got them to make an insulating cover to protect/hide the power bank mounted on the fridge unit.

Really pleased. Great guys, so easy to deal with, excellent workmanship and supporting an independent business.

I’d certainly recommend them.

All panels cut, lined and fitted.rear quarter panels are gonna have to wait til I have some kind of better idea... nightmare.

offside middle panel and piller panels are original. Barn door panels and sliding door panel cost £9 in timber and look pretty good... apart from the trim clip holes under the sill on the sliding door bent in when i tried to pop the blind trim clips in... perhaps it's cause they're blind and couldn't see where they were supposed to go

Added a sensor light within Van-X upper glovebox. USB rechargeable and magnetic.

Got the larger one of those above my slider door.
We've got a few of that type in the van and in the house and they are really useful for lighting the darker nooks and crannies. Indeed, Lidl had some 30cm versions in the Isle of Shite a couple of weeks ago and I bought a couple more for use indoors under my computer desk where a printer and scanner sits. IIRC, they were £6.99 as well. That said, I don't actually find the motion sensor on any of them 100% reliable.
