Got them from Vee Dub Transporters, really quick delivery. The fitting guides were a bit rubbish and it took a bit of working out which bracket went where, but easy enough to fit and look like they will be sturdy.

Busy day fitting parts collected over the last few weeks.
Front splitter fitted.

Genuine Vw sportline spoiler. I’ve fixed it with speedbond but it’s to hard to know if I’ve used enough. Don’t want it flying off on the motorway.

) then went for a blast up the dual carriageway, then came back indoors to continue researching wheels and suspension because I hate these Claytons 
Doing it the hard way lol left it long on the side and front to join back I’ve cut all the original strengthening out first to alter and fit back to the seat as it was, I would not advise lopping the bottom off and rewelding, as if you look at the front there is a brace that juts down it’s obviously engineered to transfer force to the floor
Not just today, but over the last week or so.... replaced the Auxiliary belt and tensioner to get rid of the irritating squeaks, fitted carbon fibre grill trims (to cover up the previous red), fitted new mud flaps that look like they will actually do a much better job than the genuine VW shite things, removed my chrome sidebars, had tyres fitted to my new banded steels, fitted the wheels, then gave him a bath!

How easy is it to remove the tray to the left of the gear knob(the one with the usb for the radio). I want to put a led inside the tray to add light to it but I’m unsure how to remove it.
It pulls up from the front nearest to you easy with a trim tool
