What Have You Bought Today?

Not bought but made...
Wanted to be able to make the solar panel more stable when we use it so made a set of stands. Can be adjusted between about 30°-45°
I have covered the base in rubber so may even be able to velcro them to the roof bars if the van is pointing in the right direction.

Not today, but late last week ... Jackery SolarSaga 100. End plan is to plug in to keep leisure battery topped up, but in interim plugged it into our Jackery Explorer 240 and it charges in no time. Also plugged Alpicool compressor fridge in and it stayed at 100%. Appreciate current weather conditions are pretty unprecedented, but put the panel in the shaded part of garden and still kept the fridge at 100%.

Many thanks to @Dellmassive & @Sackmycook for their help.

After much looking for OMTEC flush roof cross bars without the VW price tag by scrutinising pictures and hoping for the best, these arrived today.... complete with OMTEC sticker and instructions and 75kg load with the roof rails (already fitted when I bought the van). Black Cross Bar Rail Set For Roof Bars To Fit Volkswagen T6 Transporter (2016+) They also are on Amazon but were cheaper direct. BEWARE of delivery time though..... off to France tomorrow and they arrived yesterday 10 days after order. To be fair there was a bank holiday weekend in there! Super happy camper!

Been meaning to get one of these for a while. The recent warm temperatures made me click and buy.

At first I thought i was looking at a gun sight of some sort! I've got a similar thing but mine is rechargeable (last for ages!) and has a clamp as a base along with a recessed hook so it can go almost anywhere. This is it clamped to the arm of my chair right now which is nice as we're in S of France and it's in the high 30s.
