What Have You Bought Today?

Good choice on the pegs and lump hammer. Top tip - if the pegs don't want to come out (they usually don't if you've put them in properly!), give the a couple of whacks left & right and front & back to loosen them a bit.

I use 150mm coach bolts with penny washers and some rubber washer underneath to stop the cords chaffing. Cheap, works well, quick with a battery drill and a socket.

After having my flag stolen from a campsite last week, a new 1 has been bought & delivered today.
Same design as previous:

As originally bought in 2020 & demonstrated by the 12yr old young moomin:

& the new flag demonstrated by the same, but 5 years older moomin:

To be flown at the next camping jolly at Busfest
Hopefully it will last at least another 5 years before some low life deems it more important to them than me.

Where from? I can see a custom flag in my vans future Xmas stocking!

Upsetting purchase really considering my 907 exploits.
We are off to Camper Calling next week and they are getting fussy about using a 907 bottle out of the van.
Waiting for Coleman C500x6 to be delivered, Go Outdoors have sent me the wrong (non QR) Dual power pak gubbins for our 2 cook 3. Impossible to get hold of their customer support team. I had even paid £5 for their membership
A pleasant trip an hour ago to our local Cannock Caravan Accessories shop to get the right gear. And 5% off for being in the caravan and moho club.
£63 down but legal with no worries.

Did you contact them to ask about a 907 used outside?
We are on the same boat, but do already have mini gas cans as emergency use for the Cadac

Only a 2.2kg max cylinder allowed, and they have the 'right' to kick you out with no refund!
I have a spare non QR dual power pack available if you need. Any of the EN417 cans with the screw thread will work, c500 are the largest. £30 for 6, Coleman flavour.
The dual kit they sent is for the 'normal' cadacs with the wrong way thread on them. We have a carri chef 50 taking up space in the garage, takes up far too much space in the van though even for my tetris champion wife!

Go outdoor customers services ? :slow rofl:.
I went to buy some boots while I was away , they don't stock my size so instead of offering to get me some (apparently they dont do that) I had to order them myself for delivery . They turned up later than expected, 4 sizes too small , the wrong style and colour and they were ladies not gents .
Then it was down to me to send them back at my cost or take them back to a store for refund ..... and then try the ordering system roulette again ....
Not a chance!

That’s outrageous they stipulate the cylinder size …yet then go on to say caravans and motor homes can bring gas in fitted cylinders on the vehicle ( never seen a fitted cylinder must mean gas bottles in gas lockers ) that rules me out I use 5kg calor on my. Cadac…
Some caravans can have up to 11kg bottle fitted
Are they trying to create a more elite clientele judging from prices

@Drive Wayne I feel you pain…..perhaps you should point out that lot of gas cylinders are single use ( smaller type ) and encourage refillables

I was pleased to find it's actually quite easy to refill those c500 and smaller cans using the cheap butane packs from the top quality retailer B&M. Just need a £2 adaptor thing off the Bay! I realise pure Butane won't be great in the cold, but wifey doesn't do cold..

Just purchased extra rear camera for wolfbox 9000 pro. Only £30.99 free postage.
After seen they do new version with 3 cameras (front bumper) I decide I need one but instead of buy full new set and resell mine I will do switch for reverse /front camera as there only 1 conection on it. Already ordered switch too.
