What Have You Bought Today?

Some lovely pressed metal plates - dreading trying to get the current ones off though. Gave them a quick tug and they're pretty well stuck - probably going to follow the good old dental floss approach.

Also finally got round to fitting the wind deflectors i got from VeeDubs
Hi Mark,
I found warming with a heat gun also helps so they can be pulled off.

They've finished their careers at the egg farm and have just had a ride in my T6 back to their new home to enjoy a happy retirement, with the rest of our little flock of retired egg layers. (they still lay eggs but their most productive days are behind them.)

I recently got 3 bantams and 2 silkies, awesome little pets!

Got rid of the pack of stuff out of my garage for starters. Definitely less road noise although inside was done with 2 mm and carpet. Well worth doing and didn’t take long really.

Today I bought a Falcon WiFi unit which doesn’t need the roof drilling for an aerial, I set my fire stick up with my flip down monitor and now we have films and series in our van I also tried my laptop at the same time and it just worked fine.
I had previously tried to use my phone for a hot spot but it was very hit or miss with films freezing, buffering or not working at all.

How does this work sir, just a SIM card and away? I have an ecoflow battery but would be ideal if this ran off 12v, is that how you run it?

I bought this wee bad boy today. Well it arrived today anyway.
I’ve not tried it out yet but am super impressed by it so far.
This was bought as a small contained fire. Mainly for the midgies but fires are great fun anyway.
You can cook on the grill or put a pot on it but I won’t bother with that.
It burns twigs and small sticks. I’d imagine pellets would work also. There’s a bowl to burn solid alcohol.
It folds away really small too.
Will be great when you want a fire without using a big fire pit.
Will report back after I’ve tried it out but it looks well designed and I can see it working very well.
Was cheap too.
