What Have You Bought Today?

Lately…

- S+S awning multirail (plus sikaflex) and driveaway kit
- Mattress topper for the pop top and Alpkit double dozer for downstairs.
- Second hand Lotus grill
- Cheap Amazon helinox knockoffs
- Smoked sequential repeaters from THQ
- A few bits from Vanstyle - door seals, tailgate bumper protector, tailgate latch/prop and front door latch step.
- Oh and new wheels and tyres!!

It’s been a pricey month.

A momentary switch for the inside of the tailgate of my Vivante. Just realised I will have egress issues if we make up the 2 singles and I need a 4am pee as no way of getting out of the rear from inside.

Fitted one on my last van so I should own this !!

@The Flying Scotsman. They look to be similar to the pegs the we use that came from Decathlon, They're threaded but ours have flat round heads so you can't use a driver but, as with a lot of things in life, the solution is a lump hammer. We also have carry half a dozen 30cm long rebar pegs with us in the peg box - they're the camping version of the nuclear option. The lump hammer makes short work of them as well.

Bought a new 'ladies lumpy' for wifey to take on her camping trip beginning of August. I'm hoping to be reunited with my 4lb lumpy having left it under the van at Camperjam! Never used/needed screw in pegs, heavy duty rock pegs work well with a lumpy!

I’d rather carry a much lighter cordless Impact driver than a big heavy lump hammer.
It’s much handier to a precision craftsman like me

Very good! I have been wanting to produce something similar for a while. Not having you ability I was going to use Key Clamp. An amazing number of different joints and sizes. I may also use something similar for my Hi-fi support system a tower for main components with different levels and something for the large and heavy 50kg each PMC MB speakers. My main problem is with post and parcels. Do not expect things at the house but at the end of an access track but only Royal Mail and Amazon seem to be able to find us no matter how good the directions and what 3 words descriptions accurate to a few metres.

Deposit paid on some Rogue Rampage 17" fitted with CrossClimate SUVs... thanks Simon at Bognor Motors!

Steered away from Wildpeaks in the end. Felt like I was sacrificing economy, noise and wet braking for the sake of looking cool. Must remember I'm a dad.
well pleased with my Rogue Raptor 17Inch fitted at there place in Reading. While the Cooper AT3 245/65r17s physically fit without rubbing, the circumference gets Front Assistance warnings if i try to programme their 2357mm for speedo accuracy. Will swap for a smaller tyre next time
