What are your plans?

@RattyMcClelland how far have you lowered before, do you know it needs the rear camber bushes? Should I add them to my list before trying alignment, rather do it all in one go if needed.

I'm on vmaxx fully slammed on my t5 and in at 2.8 degrees of camber on the rear.
T6 suspension is the same and I'm going all the way down on bilsteins. The camber bushes should bring camber back to 1.8degrees which will extend rear tyre life a good several thousand miles. I wear the inside edge on the rear all the time.

@Rich i am just hoping that the vision in my head of the sign writing and wrap looks as good when it's on the van like yours does.

Done:
Full camper conversion from Ed at Celtic Motorhomes

Next Week:
Booked in for full Air ride system and 19" 3SDM 0.04s

?????

@Rob make sure you get some pictures up here once you've had the wrap etc done today, I'm also really keen to see what your maxton spoiler/splitter combo looks like! Am still yet to press the purchase button on the splitter, waiting to see if the sportline one grows on me, but the more I look at it, the more I dislike it, so I think the maxton subtlety is the way for me.

@Rich i couldn't agree more with you regarding the Sportline one and I am really happy with the Maxton splitter so get that button pressed because you will not be disappointed unfortunately I cannot say that about the rear spoiler yet though. I just can't make my mind up if I like or not.

can wait to see your air ride mate, really do fancy it but a lot of £££. Where you having it done ?

Just dropped it off at StancedUk this morning. Nice set up they have there and a good bunch of guys. They have 5 T5/6s booked in a row with mine the first of the bunch. I choose StancedUk as I like the fact they fit the airride and the alloys and tyres at the same time and are happy to trial fit different size alloys to get the right look.

Pick up next Friday, will get the photos up asap!!!

I have looked at Stanceduk they do look good .
Will you have adjustable controls in the cab ?

Done so far:
  • T6 Sportline Alloys
  • 30mm Eibach Lowering Springs
  • Genuine Sportline Rear Spoiler
  • Genuine Sportline Front Spoiler
  • Chrome Sidebars
  • Carpet lined
  • Insulated
  • LED Roof lights
  • Roof Rails
  • Wind Deflectors
Still to do:
  • Swivel Seats
  • SCA194 Pop Top Roof
  • Caravelle Front Grill (or Sportline if one is released)
  • Leather upgrade front seats
  • LED Headlights if possible (Should have ordered with van :-( )

Would hold out to much hope for the LEDs last time we enquired it was four and a half grand !!!

Not knowing anything about electrics, why is it so expensive? Is it not just pull old ones out plug new ones in?

No quite the opposite, priced up the gear and two headlights with LED control boxes (x4 reqd) is around £1600 + vat then theres the small issue of interfacing with vehicle canbus system plus the LED levelling system
Just checked back and it was actually £3800 supplied and fitted

Reckon it will come down in time as people start sussing it out ATM its only one or two specialist companies that can do it who have access to info and links with VW
