Vw Stock Steels V Kronprinz Steels. Any Difference

I've tracked down some steels for my 4motion that appear to be weight rated.

Advertised by Mr Winter Wheels - 17 Inch VW Transporter T6 Steel Winter Wheels and Winter Tyres inc Facelift, T26, T28, T30, T32, 180 PS aftermarket manufactured by Kronprinz to the same spec

Has any of the forum members bought or have these?

These are £286 at set in relation to £426 direct from VW. Is it a question of buy cheap by twice or are that just as good?

As far as I know, they are the same wheels, just VW charge their usual extra premium because they can. I doubt there will be any difference, because even the genuine ones will need powder coating after winter.

You can buy these wheels in sets even cheaper on eBay if they are just for winter.

I will be using the van in snow but I'll be running with standard steels all year round. A brand new set of 17" Devons and tyres are up for grabs if anyone is interested.

Is your van a T32? If it is I'd maybe check with the seller that they a load rated for a T32. Seem to recall reading on a post here that there are two versions of this wheel. Perhaps @Pauly can confirm. The ones with the small hole are rated for a T32. See last photo in this thread.

Thanks for the info. I was under the impression from other forum members that it was the spoke designed steels that are the correct ones. Perhaps I've been mis informed. I'll double check
