Tyre Pressures

As VW change the OE tyres with seeming regularity it might be useful to keep this thread up to date.

I have just put 215/60/17s on from a recent OE fit. Can someone tell me low and high pressures for these off their door sticker or for a T30 Kombi?

The sticker for my 235/55/17s gives low pressures of 43/36 and high of 47/47. From what I have found at Volkswagen Transporter Tyre Pressure Placard | Pure Tyre seems that the narrower tyre run higher pressures. None of the stickers on that site show the low pressure 60/61 seems a bit excessive even for high but they all show 9 people as if they were off Shuttles?

Better have a word with your dealer then. How do you know what pressures to use?

Thanks. A couple of pounds less than the one I found online. I wonder if it changes again for a T30? I guess it might.

I'm running 255/45/18, so the sticker doesn't help. Running 44 on front, 40 on rear.

Im running 245/45/19's on mine started with 40 all round and it didn't ride well. went for 48 all round which seems to work well though the fronts have worn out very quickly though evenly across the tread.

I've gone for 55/55 at the moment and see how it goes over the next week - i.e. Busfest & back.

My placard says 61 PSI front and rear - that seems high ?!?!?!

Me = 50psi all round T32 18" sportline alloys (full load)

Think they are these Low rolling resistance tyres hence the high pressure
