They don't stick out as far as the photo makes it look and they'd tuck in a lot more, the lower you go.
These were my old wheels, and to be fair, the Amarok offset is set very close to the arch, compared to my 19s. I use a 5mm spacer on the rear of my 19s which are 10", where as the Amaroks certainly didn't need any spacers fitted, and they are an inch smaller in width.
