[T6_measured] DPF regeneration vs. short journeys

A general idea of what to look for in addition to the above:
When you are at normal idling - lets say at red traffic light or have parked up outside your shack - check the revs. Mine are about 900rpm at idle.
During a regen mine go up to 950-1000rpm ish. A subtle but noticeable indicator when just about to switch off the engine.
I usually have a quick look at the rev counter before I reverse into the tight squeeze we tend to call parking spaces where I live. If it is on a regen I'll take it for a spin - unfortunately no dual carriageways for 10 minutes drive but plenty of traffic lights so I can see if it is still on a regen. I'll just mostly keep it revved to 2000+ revs (although that doesn't seem to make a jot of difference on my regens - as tested previously).

I did find a gadget - a regen indicator that plugged into the OBD port but unfortunately it didn't work for my DNAA engine and they were good enough to refund me as I did query it before purchasing.
