I don’t know yet, only bought if a couple of weeks ago.Is it using a lot of oil?

Hi, so what can I do? I added some dpf cleaner before setting off back from Devon. Is there anything else I can do or is it a new DPF?Clogged DPF - indicated by Soot Mass Measured value being much higher than Soot Mass Calculated.

- 204ps Bi-Turbo CXEB T6 Engine & Turbo problems -
Looks like im the latest patient of the CEXB engine issues.
(possibly the 2016-2018 range as there is a mention that the CXEB Block etc was revised in 2019)
(the CXEC 199ps Bi-Turbo was released 2019> and revised )
in sort it looks like its either Turbo or Engine failure.
here is some background:

If you only just bought it you may be able to take it back and tell 'em to fix it? Or reject it. Not for a private sale obviously.Hi, anything that can be done? Literally only just bought it, I thought as I had had a same era caddy with same engine I would be good, however maybe not? Aaargh...
Private sale unfortunately ):If you only just bought it you may be able to take it back and tell 'em to fix it? Or reject it. Not for a private sale obviously.
It had a DPF clean when the ignition coils were replaced in late 2024 early 2025 i think. Not with the receipt folder atm so can't give dates.Get readings
1) Cold engine idling
2) Hot engine idling
Obviously someone has tinkered with the DPF as the Ash accumulation has been reset fairly recently (about 6000 miles ago).

Normal reading at 100.000 miles would be about 55-60 grams.

Will get readings, do you mean RPM readings? (Thank you for your help so far)![]()
Hi, so these are timber cold and hot idling screen shots!Just the same screenshot as before/below

Quite high pressure across the cold DPF. For a healthy one should be well below 10 hPa.timber cold

the same also for hot DPF - too much resistance in the DPFhot idling

I see there is quite a difference and running hot, mine was revving high at nearly 1000.Do in need a DPF clean don’t think or a diagnostic run? Weird thing is, no light. Also, it regens at 24g which seems low. What would your recomendation be. Hopefully it’s not burning oil and getting the probs so many of these seem to have had.Quite high pressure across the cold DPF. For a healthy one should be well below 10 hPa.

For comparison please check below (Note: hPa=mbar)
Based on your screenshot the engine was doing it's regen - red DPF + timer.mine was revving high at nearly 1000

The DPF has obviously reached the point where no amount of regenning can clear it.Do in need a DPF clean don’t think or a diagnostic run?
What light? I think the ECU still thinks is within tolerances. Eventually, e.g. the regen never finishes, it will throw a fault.Weird thing is, no light
Normal for the softwareAlso, it regens at 24g which seems low

Any indication of remapping, or EGR delete? Any documents/measurements of the DPF clean? Not with the receipt folder
Oh, I can’t see the details about the update, where are those? how do I go about getting it updated? ThanksBased on your screenshot the engine was doing it's regen - red DPF + timer.

As the pressure depends on air flow, higher revs make the numbers look worse.
The DPF has obviously reached the point where no amount of regenning can clear it.
Of course the root cause of clogging has to be investigated.

Anyways, there is an update for the software. Details below. The update won't resolve the DPF issue.
Any indication of remapping, or EGR delete? Any documents/measurements of the DPF clean?
