evening all, loving the time with my BE, thinking of converting to Kombi, anyone done this ? Any advice….?

What have you done about rear seat ie to match sportline trim ? Who who’s doing it ?

Bought a 2+1 and having it trimmed to match the front seats @Eclipse Custom Vans is doing it for me this week.

Can I ask.. are the nut/bolt caps plain/smooth? or do they have Volkswagen lettering on them? I have bought a set of these wheels but they haven't come with the caps. thanks, Mark

Looks good, better than the standard decals. Found all of the red stickers came off pretty much straight away!

It has been impossible to find a black original or even a close copy. Currently a temporary measure to see how well it holds up.

Ordered a new sportline badge in case this one went wrong.. but used Plasti dip after it was recommended by someone else. Was scary spraying the paint work

May get someone to look at spraying the spare one properly at some point.

It was my first go and it turned out better than expected. Don’t think it would survive a direct pressure wash, but it’s been on three weeks and still looks good.

I had plastidipped wheels on my s2000 for years and it survived all the pressure washing and cleaning etc, except some tyre shine I tried once that seemed to dissolve it!

It’s surprisingly sturdy

That’s good to know. First time I’d heard of it let alone used it, as I said scary spraying it directly on the paint work!

I’m going to do my 20s soon too, the laquer has gone all weird so it’ll better than they are at the moment
