I got 4 keys with mine and I reckon they mixed them all up so when I tried to add 2 of the 4 keys into the primary user slot they were already taken and deleting the old primary user didn’t remove the keys assigned to that old user.

Van Haven deleted the keys and re-added them, all fixed.

Also had an OTA update today, but version is still 0330, it only took a few seconds so I don’t think it actually did anything.

0330 is the he latest sorfware I believe

For anyone having issues updating from 0156, here's the process that worked for me:

- Connect a battery charger to the 12V battery - you don't want the update failing during the process and bricking your head unit
- Download the following file from MIB Solution :: Login: MOI3_SEQREL_EU_VWMQB_P27801P. This is a "3 updates in 1" file that takes you from version 0156 to 0278.
- Extract it using 7-zip
- Copy the contents (the meta and data directories) to the root of a USB memory stick
- Plug the USB stick into USB-C port (not sure if it matters which one you plug it into but I used the one closest to the front of the van)
- Switch on the ignition
- Put the head unit in service mode and perform the update (full instructions here:

). For me it took about an hour.
- Repeat the process with this file: MOI3_SEQREL_EU_VWMQB_P33002P 3G8919360S. This takes you from 0278 to 0330.

I still can't get internet connectivity or register as a primary user, but at least I can rule out the firmware being out of date.

Pre každého, kto má problémy s aktualizáciou z verzie 0156, tu je postup, ktorý mi fungoval:

- Pripojte nabíjačku batérií k 12V batérii - nechcete, aby aktualizácia počas procesu zlyhala a spôsobila poruchu hlavnej jednotky.
- Stiahnite si nasledujúci súbor z MIB Solution :: Login : MOI3_SEQREL_EU_VWMQB_P27801P. Ide o súbor „3 aktualizácie v 1“, ktorý vás prevedie z verzie 0156 na 0278.
- Rozbaľte ho pomocou 7-zip
- Skopírujte obsah (adresáre meta a data) do koreňového adresára pamäťového kľúča USB
- Zapojte USB kľúč do USB-C portu (nie som si istý, či záleží na tom, do ktorého ho zapojíte, ale ja som použil ten najbližšie k prednej časti dodávky)
- Zapnite zapaľovanie
- Prepnite hlavnú jednotku do servisného režimu a vykonajte aktualizáciu (úplný návod tu:

). Mne to trvalo asi hodinu.
- Zopakujte postup s týmto súborom: MOI3_SEQREL_EU_VWMQB_P33002P 3G8919360S. Týmto sa presuniete z 0278 na 0330.

Stále sa nemôžem pripojiť na internet ani sa zaregistrovať ako primárny používateľ, ale aspoň môžem vylúčiť, že firmvér je zastaraný.

Hi. How did you overcome the head unit switching off after 15 minutes, or does the engineering mode keep the head unit on while updating?

I left the key in the ignition and the head unit didn't switch off, not sure if that had anything to do with engineering mode.

Followed the instructions as above and have now got the head unit updated to 0330.
The most immediate improvement is the almost instant loading of the personal profile.
Before, the unit used to hang for ages before loading.

The computer may habe taken an hour, but the tech only took 5 minutes to drife the van in, plug in his ZX81 and press enter. He then wanted off and did another service while the pooter did its thing. Thats the real reason garages dont like dashcams.
