so after all the Spotify/Waze issues with lagging and music control, finally glad to say it's been fixed by VW.
AN update of the firmware to v0743 fixed all the problems, as a number of you have reported.
However, what I didn't expect was for the VW garage/warranty services to fix it, free if charge, out of warranty(1 month).
Apparently VW have now signalled to their dealers in the last couple of weeks that they will update the software under warranty to fix the problem. My eagle eyed customer rep at VW Reading (shout out to Amy) spotted the notice, called them and got them to agree to fund the software update (I did flag it up to them about 2 months before the warranty ended, but they refused at that point).. Anyway, they did it today alongside the SOS module error change, and it works a treat
