Hi, Im going to have a go at changing the engine oil on my van as its due a service.

However Im not sure what I need to remove the sump plug. I believe it is a hex key, but not sure what size.

I cant find a sticker anywhere with the engine code on, but it is a 180bhp Euro 5 version with the external oil filter.

Anyone know the tool I need and also the torque for the sump plug?

Thanks

I'm sure it's just a 15mm/16mm or so socket mate, not sure on torque settings though

No it's just a normal hex for a socket,or ring spanner.

I think the torque is 30Nm or 22lb/ft - but rule of thumb is tight enough but not tight enough to damage anything!

Re the filter housing, I’ve got a 32mm socket and extension that is surplus if you want it?

Answer to the original question - 19mm hex’, best use a ring spanner.
