Hey all, so considering the Sub woofer under bench seat option but a little hesitant as to how good it would actually sound under the seat?? Any experience? Is it worth drilling the seat housing??

you dont need to drill the seat base . . . you can get the cables under it.

I see....
A ported or band passbox is nice... but a sealed box can sound just as good.
Space is a premium up front. =)

We supply our own design and manufactured underseat sub enclosure for the twin seat, works with swivels as well
They sound superb with the JL 10w1 10” sub, no need to vent it

Thx mate. I think we spoke last year about a Halo head unit and wiring loom etc am getting closer to going for it
Sorry to jump in here, but is it possible to run a sub from a standard VW head unit?

Yes it is we can supply a plug nd play loom with rca and remote switch on feed
