New here,im a number 1 printer for reach printing services,formerly known as the mirror.30 years in and 5 more to do...if the newspaper game lasts that long...tinternet and.all that!.

One of the best places I’ve been is a place called the Devils Pulpit in Scotland . Probably the worst job I’ve ever done was in a freezing cold warehouse in the Docklands filming a Vamps video
I’m afraid I can divulge any secrets regarding “the talent” as I could get myself in trouble!
 
Im a plumber/pipefitter, domestic and commercial. Small family firm started by my Dad in 1971.
Part time motorcycle breaker (mostly KTM's).
Weekend racer!!

After 25 years at it, I can assure you its not that appealing anymore :whistle:

Oh I dunno, we all moan about O&G and like everything it has it's ups and downs, particularly recently. You do miss out on a lot but the off time does give you an incredible amount of freedom over a 9-5 job.
32 years I have been at this game so probably institutionalised to be fair :)
 
Trained as a sparky from 17, worked for a company which installed and maintained all the electrics in the big leisure parks (Bourne leisure, park dean, etc) working all over the country...

Now back to being an apprentice as an overhead linesman - best job in the world!

Sales Director for a large American IT company.
Boring as hell but pay is good, 2 ex wife’s and 3 kids means no retirement till as least 65!

Still I have my own gaff, T6 and a premium subscription to Pornhub...what more does a man need!:D
 
Firmware (low level software close to hardware) engineer.
For car black boxes: I know how you're driving lol

Ironically before that i worked on supercars: mcLaren MP4-12C, P1s, 5x0s, Ford GT 2018.
I was working on the instrument clusters for all these cars in Derby

and about 10 years ago i used to design microchips for Infineon, a german chip manufacturer.
I can bet there are some "TriCore" chips i worked on in these transporters...
 
As little as possible..... however when really pushed a bit of helicopter fettling..
