Show us your 3D printed modifications

excactly what I am planing to do now, just with different text.
Would you mind sharing the files? Source would be absolutely briliant :)
I am the source myself, as I created the model myself :);)
I'm attaching two files for you: the CAD file (both sides) and the STL file (right side only). You can add text as you see fit and adjust the length as you like. I hope you can handle the file format. Feel free to post a picture when you're finished!

Has anyone or can anyone 3d print a flat panel to go in the dash to the right of the steering wheel to hold a sub controller?

I removed the original cup holder on the drivers side dash and reprinted it as a phone holder. I bought a phone USB Dock Station and took out the cable. The cable mounts into the bottom of the new 3D part. The USB plugs into the dash socket, removed and routed under the dash.
So now I can drop my phone into the cup-dock, and use Android Auto on the OEM radio.20250402_175920.jpg20250402_180102.jpg20250402_180127.jpg

Geat! Thank you very much!

I had to go with STL, which is not ideal, since non-commercial Fusion 360 does not like DWG (only DXF... and converters suck).

I'll share what I will come up with!

I’m trying to find if someone ever made a Brodit Proclip type bracket to attach a phone holder to voor a T6. Does anyone here know of a STL for this?

Morning

Has anyone seen or come up with any vents or sliding window modifications?
Happy to pay towards an STL if anyone's already done something as I'm not the best as designing!

I'm wanting to ideally have something to allow non OEM Windows to vent using some fly / mosquito netting

Thanks in advance

Don't suppose anyone has created/found an STL for rear speaker pods for a T6? Considering an install and see various commercial options, buy keen to make my own to ensure they fit neatly with my vanshades.

Has anyone cracked printing custom side repeater badges yet? I can’t find any online or in here, so my guess is they are not easy to do?

Toying with it (for the T6).

I'm making more of an mirror image of the side indicator profile (not like the oem 'bulli' badges).

…like these?

Love that. I’ve got Bulli Badges but it bothers me that I can’t get them in all black like that & that they don’t sit as proud as the Side Repeater so it looks a little off to me. An all black Transporter badge like yours would be awesome

Hi there
I have a T6 Caravelle and I sometime use it to sleep inside.

Does anyone has designed a Sliding window vent / grid similar to this for the back door windows?

I would love to get them printed.
Thanks in advance.

We 3D print a lot of stuff now; speaker rings front and back, tweeter mounts, floor blanks and even a front number plate holder for a short plate on an R8.

Hi, im wondering if you have managed to 3d print door speaker covers for the t6.1 transporter, I've fitted 165mm audison speakers and with the doorcard off they sound great but with the doorcard back on quite muffled as the actual cover aperture only measures 135mm, just a thought as id love a pair
Thanks ian

Here's my 1st attempt at a cover for a lowered handbrake (bracket from THQ):

The STL is available here:

If anyone wants it, I can share the autocad files.

Improvements I can think of but don't have time for:

Make out of multiple pieces, to allow smaller printers to make it
Better fitting under the grip
Layer marks on top fixed by making it modular
Support reduced by making it modular
