Hi all,
I've got VanSlam coil overs that came with the van when I bought it, I've had it raised since, was too low for me and all the camping gear. Anyway, I went into the garage to have it taken up some more and they said it was as high as it will go.
I think its perfect for me unloaded, but, we have bike rack, roof box, full loaded inside to factor in, so ideally wanted to raise it up a touch. He did mention that he could swap them out for fixed height coil overs that would allow me to raise it some more.
Knowing how much these things cost, don't really wanna get rid, I'm happy with how the van rides, though nothing to compare it to, its first van I've ever had.
So I guess a couple of q's:
1) Does that look about right in terms of how high the VanSlam coilovers might go (which I think is 40mm)
2) Would changing to a more standard set of coil overs (they guy mentioned they'd cost about £150) result in a less smooth ride.
Cheers
