When I designed my seats and got them re-trimmed I knew I wanted leather for its hard wearing properties but I didn't realise that their are still so many choices... nappa leather, pebble grain, long grain, small grain, full grain, top grain, split grain, genuine grain, even had a choice of one called Mercedes grain..! ... some again harder wearing than others...

All leather for me (if I was getting them). Also, ‘Artificial Leather’ is just another way to say plastic.

Thanks for the replies so far.

All, all leather wont match as I have the alcantara rear caravelle triple, although I must admit I tend to think the leather looks classier, but Im thinking back to freezing in winter and leg burns wearing shorts in summer from the last time I had all leather. Last few cars have been either alcantara or golf GTd/GTi fabric.
So you have heated seats. Iff so no worries about getting cold on the seats in winter.

You could always trim other parts of the van in alcantara or suede to match with the rear triple.
