I’m thinking about having my 2+1 front seats retrimmed, but not with the usual spec of leather or alcantara and more with an emphasis on hard wearing fabric. But still achieving that custom look, & most importantly comfortable with added bolster foam for a bit more support.
Would love to go for a full leather retrim, but can’t help feeling it’d be a total waste of money, as for a work van it’s not practical and I’d be forever worried about damaging it.
Ultimately though, I spend more time in my van than I do my own front room, and I don’t sit on a deck chair when I’m there either
Appreciate it’s probably a bit niche, but wondering if anyone has been down that route (rabbit hole) before? And if so, what fabric did you go for or are there any pictures I could draw inspiration from?
