I've just been through the 'Which? Best Seat Skins' thread but a lot of the posts are quite old and many links are broken so I thought I'd put out another plea for help.
I'm looking for leather look / vinyl / pleather seat skins in for a drivers captain seat and twin bench front (AKA 2+1, I think). I've probably seen most of them whilst searching on line and a lot of them look very similar or just seem too cheap so I think I've narrowed down to Transporter HQ Leatherette & Tartan at £156 (VW Transporter T5.1/T6/T6.1 - Seat Covers - GTB/GTI Style - 2+1 - Blue), Inka Leatherette & 'Suedetara' at £295 (VW Transporter T6.1, T6, T5.1 Front 1+2 INKA Bentley Leatherette Suede. Vee Dub Transporters also came into the equation but a lot of their stuff has been shown as out of stock for ages. I don't mind paying more for the Inka covers if they're worth it but I have to say that I'm more attracted to the Transporter HQ ones as they have pockets built into the back which Inka do not.
I think what I'm really looking for are recent pictures of your own self installs, especially if you can post pictures of when just fitted and, say, a month or so later, when they have bedded in a bit. I 'm not too concerned if they're not the exact same models as I've indicated above - I'm as interested in the quality from the firms in general.
Although none of the above are without their critics, I've decided to stay well away fro Leather Inn as they seem top have more than average.
