Safari windows fitted

No I agree, you shouldn't. However sometimes even the best things can fail. Importantly for me, they've got a repair that works and they haven't just washed their hands of it. I hope this was perhaps one bad batch of windows assembled to get them to market and they've learned from the mistake. I have no qualms.with THQ.

I wanted to replace our fixed windows with these but I'm put off by replacing them with stuff that hasn't proved great .
I get that. But I would say that they've sold tons of these and not everyone has had an issue, and when they have had problems, they have found a solution and sorted them out. I don't want to put anyone off, handles are now sorted and the windows are actually decent.

Through no fault of Camper Glass, DX finally managed to get this to me (needs an 18+signature as it's a glue)

Interesting that it is actually labelled as Latch Glue, so maybe it does happen more than we realise? Will give it a go soon.

Word to the wise, best mixed outside. Doesn't need much and it sets pretty quickly but a clamp to hold in place for an hour is a good idea. The 2 part adhesive works really well, but by Christ does it stink! Small amount, mix well and apply a thin layer to both parts. Try not to remove old stuff as it helps set in right location and I gave back of the latch a gentle key with a sand paper to try to promote better grip.

Hopefully you get good results, mine are still fine after repair so looks to have done what it needed to ;)

There are better options to epoxy (what is being supplied by THQ) , have a look at Loctite, primers essential.
