Rear suspension removal 4Motion

I've noticed that the rubber under my rear springs has disintegrated and I ordered those uprated powerflex ones. As I tow a lot and the van is loaded most of the year I also got 13mm spacers for the back.

This is a 4motion,

do I have to remove the cv axles to complete this task?
I know the FWD is easy to do at the back...IMG_3546.jpeg

The advice from one of the well respected suspension specialists on the Forum is to use the OEM rubber seats, apparently they last longer.

Figured I'd give it a shot considering the genuine ones lasted 3 years and 150kkm.

Hi,

Did you manage to get this done? Was it straight forward enough to do?

I'm in the same boat, T32 4motion with a lot of creaking coming from the offside rear, had the wheel off and everything looks good with the exception of the rubber which looks to have perished. Was hoping that's the problem and it's a simple fix.
