R&r Bed On Rails Alongside Evo Furniture - Not Enough Space?

Hi, I've had a Cambee Flex 3/4 bed on rails fitted, which is great. However, once I've built the furniture from an Evo kit and fitted it alongside, the bed is really difficult to move along the rails.

I've carpeted the interior but still have ply panels to fit on the furniture side, but if I do then of course the gap will be even smaller.

Am I missing something? Is it always going to be tight because the R&R bed is on rails? The only way I can think to make this easier is to literally trim 5mm off the rear of all of the kitchen units which now they're built is pretty much impossible.

Any thoughts on this appreciated...

Thoughts...... as I have Evo / Cali bed set up.
Did you speak to Evo prior to your choices and compatibility?

How much of a gap do you currently have?
Which Evo design have you fitted?
3.6mm ply should have much of an affect.
Trimming 5mm seems insignificant.
Worse case is dismantling the furniture and using a router to adjust but may not be possible depending on the design.
