New to the Hillside Birchover Classic and looking for an explanation as to what this button/light is?

May be a simple answer but I just can't seem to find any reference to it.. :(

It looks as though it may be an indication of heated mirrors or screen heater being on? I've not driven at night as yet so it may become evident when the lights are on? I am not sure if it is a Birchover or standard VW T6.1 fitting as I can't find a reference to it. Searched the forum and the owners manual with no results. Need your expertise!

With thanks, J.

That may well be an indicator light for a heater - some situations, like ADR require an indicator within the drivers view. ( not required on a camper )

"
ANNEX 7
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS FOR COMBUSTION HEATERS
7 Warning light
7.1 A clearly visible tell-tale in the operator’s field of view shall inform
when the combustion heater is switched on or off."

@oldiebut goodie,

Thanks for your reply and suggestion, which makes perfect sense. :thumbsup:

I will go check out the heater, run it up for as few minutes to see if it illuminates.

@oldiebut goodie,

Your advice was spot on! Just turned on the heating and the light came on. That one had me baffled for a while as I could find no reference to it.

Many thanks,

Jeff
