Paint For External Bbq/shower Flaps

The plastic covers for the external BBQ & shower connections on my Starlight Blue T6 are grey and stick out like a sore thumb. I’m planning on spraying them with an aerosol from paints4U of the correct colour code (LT5U) then lacquer to give it the shine.
Anyone done this as I can’t find info on whether the aerosol will take to plastic?
Cheers,
Ian

It will, I've done this sort of thing in the past. Just make sure you use a good quality plastic specific primer, adhesion promoter will make it stick even better. Degrease thoroughly beforehand though, any hint of silicone or polish and it won't take.
