P P Protect - Ceramic Coating Etc.

I used these guys (Richard and Connor), after recommendation from @Mick, a couple of months ago to get my new car ceramic coated (see Ceramic Coating) and was so impressed with the results I immediately booked the Gnu in for similar.

We dropped the van off with them first thing today and picked up around 4pm - very pleased with the results - Gnu is now over 2 years old but looks better than the day we took delivery.

Cost was £599 for clean, de-wax, paint restoration, machine polish, application of ceramic, etc.. As a repeat customer, they also did a full interior clean and treatment of leather plus all surfaces and provided me with a nice bag of products to take away - none of which I was expecting.

Genuinely very nice guys and T6 fans themselves, having had several transporters and using one now as their liveried work van (a family member also turned up whilst we were waiting in his own T6), but are not currently active on this forum (I'm trying to convince them to sign up!). However, if anyone is interested they have offered forum members the same price for getting a T6 done as they charged me to include the interior treatments and goody bag.

For info; they are currently located near Atherstone in Warwickshire but are in the process of setting up a new unit in Moira, NW Leicestershire - they also do mobile but this increases the cost a bit.

Father and son team - both working pretty much non stop from when we arrived at 8:30 until we arrived to pick it up at 4:00 - were finishing off when we arrived until around 4:30 and then spent 30 minutes quickly sorting out a panel on my car that had been back to the dealer for a bit of work (slight mark in paintwork that had appeared).

Imminent I think - they already have the premises but were waiting for the lighting to be sorted.

Update: As well as the T6, I took my new car for ceramic coating last September - whilst there I got them to fit some Alloy Gators to protect the shiny black 20" rims. The car has been into the dealer for some warranty work and when it came back on Thursday we noticed one of the Gators was coming away from the rims (haven't got a clue what they had done to it) - sent Richard a text message asking about ease of fixing - rang me back a few minutes later to talk me through (main concern being that the retaining clips may be damaged/missing) but then said just bring it in and I'll sort - went over to Moira this morning and problem sorted within a couple of minutes, free of charge. Happy to use in future and continue to recommend for Ceramic, Gators, dent repair, etc..
