New van project

Done a bit of painting today. I should have done more this week but I've been a bit lax!

My friend has just got this for me for free as well! Will be using it to hinge the baseboard’s for access from the top.

Just needs a bit of alignment inside the van and the rear seat bars put in place.

Small amount done this weekend, i really need some motivation to get this van finished!
Cut down a full sized panel get a shorter but taller than standard rear panel.



Then i got the runner fitted to the bedframe for the toilet:

Little bit more done today, all the panels are refitted and I've sorted the electrics again. Started cutting out the wood for the top, not got it quite right yet. I've bought the wood so want to try and do it myself but might just get some one to do it all for me.

Well today i managed to finish the frame, I've spoken to a company about making a kitchen pod, cladding the frame etc just waiting on a price now.

I presume you’re going for u-shaped seating in the rear.
I’ve got the same layout and it’s great. I’ve also put the toilet in a drawer at the end of the unit where yours looks to be going. Works a treat.

Yeah im going for U shaped with toilet underneath. Had to sacrifice a bit of foot space but for the most part its just me and my gf so we can manage.

Well i have finally got round to sorting the other project in my life! Actually out the garage for first time and taken away.



Then had its work done





And just like that it was done with a fresh MOT, just need to tax it and can actually use it

Done a little bit on the van tonight, old headlights out, THQ V3’s in, top grill swapped for a spare whilst oem is painted and lower grills also getting painted.

Just beed to get new bumper clips as the old ones snapped so easily!

Grills are finally back! Still have upper grill to swap over for a none broken one but no rush on that.

And tidied the garage up so i can actually see the camping gear lol

Bonnet deflector actually on now, wasnt too hard but wouldnt mind another set of feet to keep it propped off the bonnet.

Got the swivel seat base fitted as well

Finally got my alloys on as well, need to hit it with lowering stick but will be ok for now! Just need some black caps for the wheel bolts

Well I've had a nice time camping this weekend in Ashbourne with my mates, then when i got home i thought id have a bash at doing some of the woodwork that I've been struggling to get help with!
