Not just the gap, also the depth of the ‘ledge’. If it is thicker than the rail then it won’t tighten up properly. A case of try it and see. I haven’t tried those.

They might fit but the whole point of the rail system, is the ability to move the fixed down item at short notice, these fixings don't look like they will accommodate that.
They will be more so with a hand nut but tbh I’m not looking to move it often. The sub Chris is building will be a relatively flat down firing box and I’ll be able to load on top of it to a point for short trips. If ever we do a longer one or need all the space it can be removed. Key is it needs to be held well as it’ll be a powerful beast!

Thanks. Do you know if the bolts on the first ones are m8 or imperial? The main issue I’m finding is I can find some like this that work but I wanted hand nuts and can only find them in metric, not the imperial sizes that some of these have.
Just looked at the spec on the Amazon ad and looks like they’re imperial measurements. Can’t quite understand why most of them seem to be!
Yep seems to be the standard for some reason. Strange how I can’t find any matching imperial hand nuts to match. You’d think that would be easy!
Google, either 3/8” NF or 3/8” UNF wing nut, plenty.

Fitted my floor and 126 bed a couple of weeks ago.
The kitchen is next. I’ll use rivnuts to secure to the van walls for a solid fixing and perhaps a medium strength sealer adhesive on the bottom of the unit walls to stop floor squeaks. I’ll see how solid it is then decide from there if I will bond it down.
Another option is drill a 10mm hole into the floor as far as the original steel. Then drop a piece of 10mm tubing in and use a long tek screw and washer to screw to the original steel floor bit without crushing the composite floor.
Incidentally on about squeaks and rattles I’m about to go on a test drive with someone laid in the back because the seat/bed has developed some annoying rattles
Hi, my seat/bed had annoying rattles but for now they seem to have abated. One was that the bar used to release the seat squab to pull it forward before rotating was/is loose, worse at one side. I'm not convinced it wasn't bent a bit when the seat was lifted into the van. Anyway, wedging something between the bar and seat to keep it pushed down stops the rattle enough. The other major noise was squeaks, which seem to have been fixed by spraying silicon lube onto and around the plastic wheels that sit on or next to the aluminium floor rails. Not sure whether that will help you.
Did you get a new van? Curious about how you went from RIB to mobiframe?
Yes new van so totally new setup. Much prefer the mobiframe except for some annoying rattles that I’m trying to track down
Yeah, I figured. That’s my one regret on my van, but at the time I wasn't even aware these rail systems existed.
