Obviously Harrogate is a must for the day.

Not been to Knaresborough for a few years, but I recall it being a nice site.

Excellent site and Knaresborough itself is a short(ish) walk away. The Wanderer bar on site is surprisingly good too. Enjoy!

On my list to visit heard great things about site and area

Went last week -- great little site .
Bar / Restaurant(snack) on site - good beer.
The Guy Faulks Pub in Scotton - 1/2 mile away is very good.
Great local ales and exceedingly good food - well above average.
Cycle way into Harrogate along the valley and a round route back.
Knaresborough walkable but appeared a little run down.
Ripley and Ripon close by and Fountains Abbey - great NT property.
