Jacking for axle stand front

Very similar thead to the rear one but is it safe to jack under the normal jacking point and place the axle stand here?

Looking at the gauge of the tube my guess is it would deform.

I've used it before very carefully using a rubber block and it's been fine. It's not the ideal place though...

Thanks for the replies, really helpful.

For the front where do you put the trolley jack if you were going to put an axle stand on the normal jacking point.

I know there is a hardpoint on the subframe I've seen the guys and garages using it. However I can't see how I could get to my trolley jack in there.
